9.1. A principal licensee must prepare and maintain a register of all gifts and benefits received by persons engaged in the business in accordance with section 53F of the Act.The agency principal licensee [and/or the licensee in charge] must have a register for gifts received:
– That are over the value of $60.00  

It is acceptable to receive a gift from a client for services rendered under the agency agreement. As noted in legislation – “section 53F 2(b) anything provided in accordance with the terms of an agency agreement or from a client as a gift in gratitude for services provided under an agency agreement”    

It is best practice that the register records all gifts received.
